Team skins.
Since I'm the skinner in our team it would a bit odd if I didn't use them.
An example of my 1337 skinner skillz so you won't be tempted to ask me to do yours.
PS. I think the aerokit is made by teaz-R. That is definitely not my doing.
[edit]Yep. teaz-R made the aerokit http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=31584
I've watched Initial D five or six times and it's still great. Every time I watch an episode I'm torn between watching another episode and going racing with the XRT.
It's not really that bad. It's just that Initial D is so good.
When they race in Initial D there are corners and it's about the drivers ability and all. In Wangan Midnight they just speed on a freeway. It's all about who's got the fastest car.
If you are scanning viruses while driving it can affect the Logitech Profiler. Atleast AVG, when it finishes the scan, does something and the Profiler some how disconnects my DFP. Popping to windows and back fixes it.
Best bet is to have no programs running in the background when you race.
Great patch. Has something been done to the audio? It sounds better. Can be the result of a fresh windows install though.
I've been watching Wangan Midnight. After the first 6 episodes I'm sad to say but it isn't that great.
Nice animation. Extremely beautiful car (the Fairlady Z). But unlike Initial D it doesn't make me want to get out and drive my car. Neither in real life nor in LfS. Even now if I watch an episode of Initial D I immediately want to fire up LfS and go race. With Wangan it just isn't there. It did make me want to do an overhaul to my engine but that's not the same.
Still I'm truly hoping it'll get better when I see more of it.
Is it possible to make a track with the autox editor that uses the pitlane as part of the track i.e. no speed limit but still would make the pitboxes usable?
Would work well with South City's long pit entry and exit lanes.
If you roll your car in a race you are not going to get a podium finish. Simple. It's very easy to roll the car after the chicane in BL1R too.
I like those high cerbs. Makes it more important to keep the round black things on the black/gray stuff.
That pic by Ian, isn't that the Nürngerburger ring? Wouldn't it be interesting to compare those who want it in LFS to those who complain about the cerbs in Fern Bay...
The idea of a track going up and down a mountain is great. A dirt road doing the same thing would be awesome. Pikes peak anyone? Because this is mainly a multiplayer game the road should be wide enough to enable passing.
Sure the drifting crowd would cream their pants but that's unavoidable.
+1 It would make these forums much less cluttered. And I wouldn't have to fight the urge to flame so much.
But in all honesty, putting the drifters in the same boat with the croozerz is a bit much. Drifting is much closer to racing than it is to croozing. Driftin is a sport and it takes skill to do it right. Croozing is just driving around. Even monkeys can do that. No offence to monkeys.
Well it's saying that a SMART failure is bound to happen so I'm now trying to clone it. Hitting OK and restarting a million times (aka installing windows) is not my idea of a fun time.
I'll be there if I get it to work but don't wait up.
When they add dynamic weather to LfS it would also be a good time to differentiate the tires. Some would be better in hot conditions some in cold. Would make league racing even more interesting if you had to stick to the same tire manufacturer for a whole season.
